Kate Shabel, 82, of Snellville, died Dec. 30, 1999.

Private interment services were held in Cartersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Atlanta, 4532 LaVista Road, Tucker, Ga., 30084.
