Last week Prof. and Mrs. Sharp went to canton to carry their little baby, who was quite sick, hoping the change would do him good. In a few days we were exceedingly sorrowful to learn that their baby had died, in spite of all the medical aid that could be given. In this, their sore affliction, the whole community extend to the bereaved parents their sympathies, which is felt from the bottom of their hearts.
