Capt. Chas. T. Shellman Dead.

Capt. Charles T. Shellman, a prominent and well known citizen of this county, died on last Tuesday morning at his home, near Etowah river, about eight miles from this place.  He had been a citizen of this county for over forty years.  He was about sixty years of age.  Capt. Shellman was a genial, whole-souled gentleman, and to know him was to like him.  He was an honest man and this county has lost one of her best citizens.  He leaves a wife and several sons and daughters to mourn his death.
