Death of Mrs. Mary Shepard.

This estimable lady, widow of the late J. W. Shepard, died last Tuesday at the residence of John H. Wikle, Esq., in this city. Several weeks ago Mrs. Shepard was thrown from her buggy, and had an arm broken. No one thought her injury fatal, all expected she would soon recover. Her death was a great surprise to the community. Her remains were interred in “Oak Hill” cemetery at 3 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon.
