“From Adairsville.”

Mr. Jake Sherman’s son, Edd, was killed last Saturday morning by a mule.  He had unhitched the mule from the plow and started to the house when it commenced to rain.  The mule attempted to throw him.  In attempting to get off the mule, his foot was caught in the gear, and he was bruised and kicked to death.  He was about 14 years old.
