Marlin C. "Boss" Shook, 72, of Dalton, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, in the Hamilton Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Edwards Shook of Dalton; a daughter, Sue Fountain of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Teresa Shook of Chatsworth, Robert L. and Darlene Shook of Cartersville, and Ricky Shook of Dalton; sisters, Bonnie Robinson of Rome, Ruth Baker of Adairsville and Naomi Mulkey of Cartersville; brothers, Vernie Shook and Bill Shook both of Cartersville and Frank Shook of Rome, eight grandchildren; six grand grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Love Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Monday after 3 p.m.
