Death of Little Clarence Smith. On last Sunday was a week ago the little son of Dr. and Mrs. J. D. Smith was taken ill, and died on Friday night. He was the only child remaining of four, and was a sprightly and intelligent lad between eleven and twelve years old. His death was a sore trial to the parents, who had the sympathy of this community in their bereavement. The remains of the child were carried to Macon on Saturday night for interment.
