Obituary.

Died at Stilesboro, Geo., on the evening of the 5th inst., Mary Lou, infant daughter of Capt. Thomas K. and Mrs. Willie Thurman Sproull, aged 8 months.

“An angel in the book of life,
Wrote down an infant’s birth
Then added, ere he closed his book,
Too beautiful for earth.

And when the reaper Death passed by,
He read the words and smiled,
Then folded in his arms
The lovely little child.

The mother wept, but angels sang
With soft and glad accord;
They welcomed the transplanted flower
In the garden of the Lord.

The mother wept, but she will not weep
When all her days are o’er,
And at the gates of Paradise
She meets her darling child.”
