Mrs. Rebecca W. Sproull, Mrs. Jesse James, Mrs. Gains, Mrs. Jas. Attaway, and an infant child of Col. J. W. Pritchett, have all passed from this stage of existence, within the last ten days. The former died at Rome, though a citizen of this county, the remainder all died in this county.  They were all advanced in life except the infant.

Administrator’s Sale.

By and in conformity to an order from the Ordinary of the county of Floyd, dated September 20th, 1871, I shall proceed to sell, on the first Tuesday in November next, in the town of Cartersville, in the County of Bartow, before the Court House door, betwixt the hours of 11 A. M. and 2 o’clock, P. M., the following real estate, situated in said County, viz:

Lot of land No. (637) six hundred and thirty seven, excepting about three acres on South side of the Etowah River, and such parts and parcels of Lots Nos. (545) five hundred and forty five and (536) five hundred and thirty-six, as lies on the North side of said Etowah River running to the middle of said River.

Also, Lot No. (617) six hundred and seventeen, also Lots Nos. (468) four hundred and sixty eight, (609) six hundred and nine, (616) six hundred and sixteen, and (617) six hundred and seventeen, all of said lands lie on the 3d section and 17th District, containing in all about (335) three hundred and thirty five acres.  Sold as the property of Rebecca W. Sproull, deceased.  Terms, half cash and the balance in one year.

At the same time and place, what is known as Rose Cottage, adjoining, containing (280) two hundred and eighty acres, well improved, fine dwelling, highly ornamented grounds, together with all necessary outbuildings, in good condition.
