A Sad Death

A very sad death was that of Mrs. Eula F. Stephens, the wife of Mr. William F. Stephens, which occurred in this city on Monday evening. Mrs. Stephens had been sick about three months.

Mrs. Stephens was formerly Miss Eula Blalock, was the daughter of the late Mr. Wm. H. Blalock, whose home was seven miles east of Adairsville. She was a young lady of most amiable disposition and considerable talent, having taught successfully in some of the best schools of the county. She was a sister of Mr. Hugh Blalock and Miss Vara Blalock, who are now in Texas.

On the 21 st of December 1893, she was married to Mr. Stephens. A bright infant boy of three months with her husband, survives her. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist church, and was a consistent Christian.

Her remains were carried to the old neighborhood burying ground on Cedar Creek, on Tuesday, for interment.
