Mrs. Robert Stiles.

This Good Lady Dies at Ashville and is Buried at the Old Home.

Mrs. Robert Stiles died at Ashville, N. C., where she had gone for her health some months ago, on last Friday morning. Her condition growing alarming, some weeks ago, her family in Georgia were notified, and most of them were with her in her last moments. She was the widow of the late Robert M. Stiles, of this county, but before her marriage was Miss Margaret Couper daughter of Mr. James H, Couper, of Savannah. She leaves two sons, Mr. H. C. Stiles, of this city, and Mr. John C. Stiles, of Brunswick, and four daughters, Mrs. A. E. Mills and R. L. Mercer, of Savannah, Misses Margaret and Isabel Stiles. She has two brothers surviving her, Messrs R. H. Couper, late of Cartersville, but now of Tunnel Hill, and Mr. A. W. Couper of Brunswick. Her mother survives her and lives in Brunswick.

The remains reached the city Saturday morning and were conveyed to Malbone, where they were interred beside her husband. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. T. A. Pirse, rector of the Episcopal church, at Marietta.
