Death of Mrs. Taff.

Mrs. Josh Taff died at her home near Stilesboro, Ga., on November the 30 th. The Christian spirit of Mrs. Josh Taff took its flight heavenward, after a useful life of 68 years. She was an industrious, good woman, full of good works and words, as is proven by the number of children she has raised to usefulness. She lived to see nine children, six sons and three daughters, grown to noble manhood and womanhood. One son (dear to our memory,) Mason, died several years ago. The rest survive her, and all are married but one daughter. She had twenty four grandchildren. She was the mother of our staunch citizens, Dave, Sam, and Henry Taff. Her funeral was preached by the able young divine, Mr. Bennett, at Raccoon Creek Baptist church, on Monday, December 2 nd, 1895. There her form was consigned to its last resting place.

Truly a good woman has gone to her reward.
