Death of a Good Citizen.

It becomes our solemn duty to chronicle the death of one of Bartow’s most estimable citizens, Mr. Joshua Taff, which occurred at his home near Stilesboro on Monday evening last. He had been sick but a short time, but his death was hourly expected. He was about 65 years old, and in his death Bartow county has lost a good Christian citizen, whose place will be hard to fill. A doting father, a true husband, a noble brother is laid away in his cold, cheerless grave never to be gazed upon again. We sympathize with the bereaved family in their sad affliction and they can rest assured that God does everything for the best. Requiescat in pace.
