Miss TEXANA TAFF, daughter of Mr. William Taff, of Stilesboro, died Friday night last, of consumption. At one o’clock, Friday afternoon, she was at the residence of her brother, Mr. Robert Taff, a few miles distant from her own home, when she expressed a desire to go there. When she arrived she quietly told her family she had come home to die and did expire at nine o’clock that night. The hand of affliction has been laid heavily on Mr. Taff. This is the third grown daughter that has died within the last eight months. |
