ROCKMART- Funeral services for Mrs. Grace M. Tate will be at 3 p.m. today at Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Williams, the Rev. Billy Patrick and the Rev. Hobart Pierce officiating.  Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Tate, 86, of 831 Cartersville Highway, died Tuesday.

She was born in Bartow County, Feb. 18, 1912, daughter of the late William H. Madden and Bessie Green Madden.  She was a member of Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Bryant Tate in 1983.  Prior to retirement, she was employed by City Drug.

Survivors include: two daughters, Emma Spinks, Rockmart, and Diane Worthington, Kingston; two sisters, Mabel Swinford and Annie Ruth Kennedy, both of Rome; a brother, Paul Madden, Nashville, tenn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
