Miss Tate Buried Sunday At Church Rites
Miss Ollie Mae Tate, RFD 2, Kingston, passed away in a Rome hospital following a lingering illness. She was the daughter of the late Oliver Washington Tate and Omie Dawson Tate.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery with Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Officiating were the Rev. Ralph Kimsey and the Rev. Howard Moore. Serving as pallbearers were: Donald Tate, C. L. Tate, George Greene, T. J. Blankenship, Johnson Tatum, and Dwayne Dunn.
Survivors include sisters, Vonnie Tate, RFD 2, Kingston; Mrs. D. E. Dunn, Marietta; sisters-in-law Mrs. Dewitt Tate, Canton; several uncles and aunts as well as nieces and nephews.
