We are called upon to record the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. A. E. P. P. TERRELL, wife of John A. Terrell, of this place.  She died at Rowland’s Springs, near this place, on the morning of the 13th inst., of consumption.  She was in the very prime of life, being about 35 years of age.  Was the daughter of John and Sallie Leak, whose remains now sleep in the family grave-yard, within the corporate limits of this town, and where too she has been laid, hard by the side of her loved ones who have crossed over the flood before her, to await the resurrection morn.  She was dedicated to God in her childhood and brought up in the bosom of the Methodist E. Church, South, of which she remained a devoted member until the day of her death.  She leaves behind to follow after her, her earthly companion, and six children, two of whom are yet in the years of their childhood, and a large number of relatives and friends. God bless and protect these little ones thus early deprived of a mother’s instruction and prayers, and sanctify the sad dispensation of His Providence to the good of the older members of the family, who more keenly feel their loss.
