“City Affairs.”

Mrs. Nancy Thomas, who quietly and peacefully passed away a few days ago, was one of our oldest and most respected citizens. She was seventy –nine years of age and died in the same house where Mrs. Sylar died two years ago at the age of ninety-three. Mrs. Thomas moved to this place from Carrollton about ten years ago and lived with her daughter Mrs. Bartlett. She was a great sufferer and had been confined to the house for several years. She was a kind hearted, cheerful and sweet spirited woman and was beloved by all who knew her. She was a good Christian and a member of the Baptist church.
