“Doings in Bartow—West Adairsville.”

The death angel visited the home of Mr. Thomas the 3rd inst., and bore away the gentle spirit of his daughter Miss Sarah Thomas. She had been a great sufferer from that dread disease consumption, but she bore her suffering with great fortitude. She leaves two sisters, four brothers and her father to mourn her loss, but their loss is her gain. They laid her to rest beside her mother in the cemetery near Fairmount.

“Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep.

From which none ever wakes to weep.”
