A Sad Death.

Those of our people who had the pleasure of an acquaintance with Miss Julia Thompson, of Rome, will learn with sadness of her death, which occurred at her home last week, after a lingering spell of fever.  But a few weeks ago this bright, cheerful, beautiful girl, with others, enlivened our office by a visit.  Little did we think she would soon pass away.  She was a tender, loving, obedient daughter, and at home the light and joy of the household, and her many lovable traits won the love and esteem of all who knew her.  We deeply sympathize with those so sadly bereaved.
