Died.

We clip the following notice of the death of Mrs. R. S. Tomlinson, nee Miss Mattie Hardy, from the Cedartown Advertiser.  It will be sad news to her many friends in this city –her old home:

Mrs. R. S. Tomlinson died at the Booz House Tuesday, after a brief illness.  The event has cast a saddening over the whole community. In which she was a great favorite.  Her funeral, Wednesday, took place from the Presbyterian church.  The decorations at the church were most appropriate and conspicuous and spoke silently the love and keen anguish of the members for their departed sister and companion.  Mrs. Tomlinson was a daughter of the late Dr. Hardy, at Cassville, and a sister of Mrs. Col. Broyles, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Johnson, of Griffin.  Her death was so unexpected that only a portion of her relations were with her.
