A Sad Death

One of the saddest deaths this community has known in a long time was that of Miss Cherry Trammell, which occurred at the home of her father, Mr. C. G. Trammell, on Tuesday. She had been rather feeble for some time, but an unflagging will kept her from giving up. She had just returned home from Atlanta, where she went for treatment, when her condition suddenly took a serious turn and she only lived a short while after her return.

She was a most estimable Christian lady, always seeking an opportunity to do some kind act, and in the Methodist church she was one of its most devoted members.
