The death of the Hon. L. N. Trammel last week removes a notable figure in Georgia public life.  Col. Trammel has figured extensively in Georgia affairs and always with credit to himself and benefit to his state.  He was railway commissioner and chairman of the commission for years and performed his duties with wisdom, fidelity and thoroughness.
