Mrs. Trippe Dead.

Mrs. Nettie Trippe, wife of Mr. John R. Trippe, died at her home in this city last Sunday, of consumption from which she had been suffering for some time.

Mrs. Trippe was originally Miss Nettie Zenor, a niece of Mr. L. B. Matthews.  She was a woman of fine disposition and made friends with all who came to know her splendid traits of character.  She bore her illness with wonderful resignation.  She leaves, besides her husband, two children.

The funeral took place Monday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. George W. Duval.  The interment was at Oak Hill. [A tribute by a friend can be found on page 1 of the August 20, 1908 issue.]
