Norton Brown Tumlin died Feb. 11, 2005 at the age of 84. He was born in Cartersville on Sept. 28, 1920 and was the fourth generation raised on the family farm. He graduated from Cartersville High School in 1937.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13 from the Owen Chapel with the Rev. Richard Simms officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Buildinf Fund or the Heritage Baptist Church.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
