Mrs. V. M. Alexander, upon intelligence received of the dangerous illness of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Walker, at Dalton, left for that city on the 8 o’clock train last Thursday evening. Reaching her destination, she found that her sister had died while she was on the way to her bedside. Mrs. Walker was a daughter of Mr. W. H. Bonner, of Gordon county, and was a devoted wife and mother. She leaves several small children.
