Mr. Thad Edwards of Knoxville, Tenn., is shaking hands with old friends.  He was called home to see his grandmother, Mrs. Ward.  She died on Saturday, the 7th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, Rev. J. W. Edwards, at Hall’s Station.  A mother in Israel has gone to her reward in her 84th year.  We tender our sympathies to the bereaved friends.
