Death of a Child.

Little Simpson Watkins, the two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Watkins Jr., died, at the home of Mrs. S. B. Donahoo, in this city Tuesday night.  The little one took sick about six weeks ago while in this city.  His parents took him to Dalton, where he did not improve and they brought him again to Cartersville.  He was an exceptionally bright child and his death is quite a blow to his parents and other relatives.  Mr. and Mrs. Watkins desire to thank Dr. Erwin and their many friends in Dalton for their interest and attentions during little Simpson’s illness.

The funeral takes place today from the residence of Mrs. Donahoo, at 9:30 o’clock and will be conducted by Rev. George W. Duval.  The interment will be at Oak Hill.
