The Rev. Seward William Watts, 5 Russell St., died Saturday in a Rome hospital following nine years of illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bettie Watts, Rome; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gore Spring Methodist Church with the Revs. W.A. Williams and C.W. Moreland officiating.  Interment will be in Gore Spring Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Wilder's Funeral Home and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 8 p.m. today.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of the funeral.
