“Bartow County—Kingston.” A Girl’s Suicide. Rome, Ga., December 15. –Miss Carrie White, a beautiful young lady sixteen or seventeen years of age, living near Rockmart, committed suicide last evening by shooting out her brains with a pistol. She committed the deed about 7 o’clock. Last night at the supper table the young lady had some words with her brother. She left the table and secured the pistol that ended her life. There was a shot, a crash and the girl found lying in her own blood. The family was almost crazed. No other cause for the suicide than the quarrel with her brother can be assigned. |
