Bufford.

After a lingering illness Mrs. James A. White breathed her last Friday evening about nine o’clock. Her funeral took place Sunday at 11 o’clock from the Baptist church at Cross Roads. Rev. A. J. Buford, assisted by Rev. T. A. Owens, conducted the services. The church would not hold the great number who were in attendance. The deceased had a host of relatives and many friends who are grieved at her death. She had been a member of the Baptist church for many years and has no doubt entered the Christians’ sweet rest above.
