Death of a Prominent Georgian.

Time even lops off our distinguished men by degrees from our midst, so it is in sorrow we learn that Gen W. B. WOFFORD, late Treasurer of the State Road, died at his residence in Habersham county, on the 10th instant, of Chronic Diarrhea.  Gen Wofford was well known to the people of Georgia, and was by them esteemed an honest man.—Sav.
