W.M Womack Buried Friday, Hunt Cemetery

W.M. Womack, RFD, Cartersville, passed away at his home Wednesday evening following an illness of two months. He was 80 years old, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Womack. He was a native of Paulding County.

He had been a member of the Baptist Church for many years and had farmed all of his life.

Funeral services were held at two o’clock Friday afternoon from the Emerson Baptist Church with interment in the Hunt Cemetery with the Rev. Oren Holland, officiating. Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Lester Womack, of Emerson, and one grandson.
