Miss Emma Wood Dead.

Miss Emma Wood died at the home of her brother, on Monday last at 5:30 o’clock. She had been in ill health for three years.  She came to her brother, Mr. Jim Wood, of this city on January 12, and since that time has been confined to her bed.  Miss Wood made her home with an elder sister, Mrs. Levi Godfrey, until she came to Cartersville for treatment.

She leaves six sisters, one in Texas, two in the Indian Territory and three in Georgia; also two brothers.

The deceased was about 37 years of age.  She had been kind and gentle always and had made many true friends wherever she went.  The interment took place at Emerson.
