“Kingston Items.”

On last Friday the oldest daughter of the noted George Earp was caught stealing potatoes at the house of Thos. Woolley, colored.  Tom Woolley’s little boy, about three years old, told on her, and she had an overhauling by Tom’s wife.  About half an hour after she took the child and carried it down to the river and drowned it.  She was arrested for the deed and confessed.  She was committed to jail by Squire Burrough.
