Mrs. Young Dead.
Wife of Mr. H. E. Young Passes Away Last Saturday.

A peculiarly sad death was that of Mrs. Young, wife of Mr. H. E. Young, which occurred at their home on Leake street, in this city, last Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Young had been sick for several months but her friends hoped that she might rally and her young life be spared to her husband and little babe about fourteen months old.

Mrs. Young was only 26 years old and was a graduate a few years ago of the public school.  During her school days she had the esteem of pupils and teachers and as a mark of respect the graduating class of the present term attended the funeral in a body.

She was the daughter of Mr. C. W. Harris, of Stilesboro.  She was married to Mr. Young about two years ago.  She was a member of the Baptist church and was a consistent Christian and a devoted wife and mother.

The funeral took place from the Baptist church Monday and the services were conducted by Rev. A. W. Bealer, assisted by Rev. T. A. Owen.
