Dr. W. C. Griffin has had his cup of sorrow quite full on account of deaths of near relatives recently. He lost a sister, Mrs. James Crawford, a month or so ago, afterwards a brother-in-law, Mr. Haynes, and last week Miss Pet Kinnebrew, his niece, a lovely young woman, died at Nannie, in Floyd County.
