The Hargis Reunion.

The Annual Meeting at the Old Family Homestead.

The annual reunion of the Hargis family was held at the old homestead, near Cass Station, last Saturday, and was an unusually pleasant occasion.

Besides the family, which is a large one, there were quite a number of guests present, and the flow of wit and humor was unusually brilliant. Although Capt. Dick Hargis who was master of ceremonies, is now a citizen of Cartersville, yet the tender ties of his youth for the old home still cling to him, and he will always feel that there is no place like this old homestead. His son, Mr. Will Hargis, now has charge of the place and was the host on this occasion.

The dinner was an elegant spread, and the day was one of the most pleasant ever spent at the old home.
