Matters Social and Otherwise—From a Woman’s Standpoint. [New section]

Miss Nannie Hamiter and Rev. C. A. Allday were quietly married at the home of the bride’s mother, on Market street, last Thursday morning. The ceremony was performed by Rev. B. P. Allen, in the presence of a few friends. Immediately after the ceremony Rev. and Mrs. Allday left for a tour of several weeks. They will visit Brunswick, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and other points, after which they will return to Cartersville, which will be their future home.

Miss Hamiter has always lived in Cartersville, and it is with the greatest pleasure her friends learn that she will continue to reside where she has been so universally loved.

Mr. Allday is a Methodist minister, and is quite well known here having been a visitor on several occasions.
