“Affairs in the City.”

One of the swellest affairs among the colored people of Cartersville that has ever occurred, was the marriage of Lewis Allen and Addie Brown, at the colored Baptist church, on the evening of the 4 th instant. There was a full corps of attendants, the wedding march was played and the ceremony was performed in splendid style by Rev. W. F. Bright, while the audience packed the house, a large portion being white people. The couple are most worthy colored people and have the best wishes of many friends, both white and colored.
