Alley – Evredge.

Married at the residence of J. R. Henderson, near Stilesboro, on Thursday the 20th inst., Mr. I. W. Alley, to Miss Lizzie Evredge, Rev. F. M. Daniel, of this city, officiating. Quite a number of the relatives of the contracting parties and a few friends were present. The groom, Mr. I. W. Alley, is well known in this city, and is an energetic, business, moral and through going young man, while the bride, Miss Lizzie Evredge, is well known all over the county as a beautiful, intelligent, amiable and industrious young lady. To the happy couple we extend the warmest congratulations, and bespeak for them a long life of untarnished happiness. May their bark ride triumphantly over the shoals of life.
