The marriage of Miss Kate Gaines and Mr. H. A. Black will be a quiet home affair of Thursday evening, the ceremony taking place at 8:30 o’clock in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends.  Rev. H. B. Mays will officiate.

The home will be decorated simply in white and green.  The bride will wear an old rose gown with hat to match.

There will be no attendants, but the wedding march will be played by Miss May Donahoo, of Birmingham, Ala.

After an informal reception, Mr. and Mrs. Black will go to their home on South Erwin street.
