“East Side Notes.”

Our social circles have been aroused from the monotonous lethargy by the marriage of Mr. Floyd Bridges and Miss Mary Lou Dobbs, Dec. 9th, at the home of Mr. Robert Rhea, by Rev. W. A. Cleveland.  It was a quiet home affair with only relatives and a few friends.  Mr. Will Lee best man, Miss Nellie Hudgins, maid of honor, Miss Mayme Hudgins presided at the piano, as the marriage party entered the instrument gave forth obedience to the skillful and artistic touch of this accomplished musician, the grand strains of a wedding march.

After the joining together of the happy pair and congratulations the evening was spent, and the supper was everything a connoisseur could wish for.  It has been known to mutual friends for sometime that this marriage would take place before Christmas. The bride and groom have the best wishes of the entire community for their future happiness and prosperity.  May their life’s boat glide smoothly over the water of time, and when the sails are furled for port may they enter into the gates of heaven a still happier pair.
