MARRIED,

At Decatur, on the evening of the 9th inst., by Rev. John S. Wilson, Col. MILTON A. CANDLER, Editor of the Cassville Standard, and Miss ELIZA C., daughter of Hon. Charles MURPHY.

“May their days be pleasant and long,
Their love be fervent and strong,
He an affectionate husband through life,
And she a lovely and obeying wife.”

--If Milt doesn’t send us a basket full of the “wedding doings,” then—we shall always think he otter!  Enough should be sent for the whole Standard establishment—and there’s about twenty of us, more or less.  Tom says he’s not very fond of cake, but under the circumstances he’ll try and “worry down” a little—if he gets the chance!  Send it along! – B.
