Bartow County--Adairsville

Mr. Albert Cowhard in all the glory of a crowned knight held the hand of Miss Catherine Stone last Sunday as they both plodded their way over hill and dale bent on the sweetest mission as cupid would say. They were in love, a confession our hero and heroine had made that caused the frogs on the roadside to dance in glee, the crickets to sing their best song, and the birds to pipe an extra note. The betrothed came afoot to Adairsville intending to be married as soon as that power of law could be given to them. So Mr. Cowhard and Miss Stone stood on the railroad crossing ¼ mile south of town, surrounded by a few friends and others who wanted some experience, and by the words and power of Rev. Mr. Edwards they were declared married. They returned home under new made lives full of future prosperity no doubt. The groom lives on the Lewis place, while the bride is a resident on Thos. Graves farm.
