At the residence of the bride’s father, in Boston, Talladega county, Ala., Tuesday morning of last week, Mr. Charles J. Cunyus, of this county, was married to Miss Olivia Collins. After the ceremony, the happy couple, accompanied by a brother and sister of the bride, left for the home of the groom’s mother in this county. An elegant reception was given them at the residence of Mr. J. K. Rowan, which was immensely enjoyed by all who participated. Thursday evening a reception was also given by the mother of the groom at her residence near Taylorsville. The groom is well and favorably known throughout the county, particularly in business circles. He has recently been traveling for Pique, Manier & Co., Nashville, and we learn that he has retired from that and will make his future home in Alabama. The beautiful bride is a shining light in the social circle in which she moves, and a lady of high intellectual capacities. We congratulate our friend Charles on his good fortune in securing such an estimable young lady as his life-long companion. We wish for the happy pair a long life of happiness and joy.
