Married—On the 18th inst., at the residence of the bride’s father, by the Rev. Mr. Tatum, Mr. GEORGE F. DAWSON to Miss MARY BLANTON.  The hours flew by on golden wings until dinner was announced, which proved to be a delicious and bountiful feast, that did credit to the tasty ladies who arranged it.  The bride was beautifully and becomingly dressed.  The groom is one of our most energetic townsmen, and we heartily congratulate him on winning such a prize and feel confident he will prove worthy his position, and carefully guide their life boat, until they shall anchor safe beyond the surging tide.
