Durham-Collins. Marriage at Acworth—Reception at Cartersville. At five o’clock Tuesday evening in the neighboring city of Acworth, Mr. Claude G. Durham and Miss Genia Idell Collins were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Durham took the train for this city, and were given a most delightful reception at the home of the groom’s father Mr. F. M. Durham Tuesday night. Quite a number of friends came up from Acworth with the bridal party, and with a genial party of Cartersville friends the evening was most pleasantly spent. Mr. Durham is engaged in the drug business at Acworth in the firm of Durham Bros., and is a young man of fine business capacity, and his bride is one of the loveliest of Acworth’s many charming young ladies. |
