MARRIED at 11 o’clock a. m., on the 9th inst., at the residence of the bride’s father, near Cartersville, Ga., by the Rev. R. B. Headden, Mr. W. J. Felton of Tyler, Smith Co., Texas, to Miss Laura C. Woodward, of Bartow Co., Ga. We were not surprised at the good fortune of our gallant young friend from the “Lone Star State.” We were satisfied that he could not resist the winning charms of Bartow’s fair daughters. We would wish for the happy young couple, that their honey moon may never wane, and, that now their little bark is fairly launched on life’s ocean, that they may have a long, happy and prosperous voyage, with no Texas northers to chill their affection. |
