The wedding Wednesday evening of last week of Miss Bessie Baker to Mr. Arthur Franks was a simple but exceedingly lovely home ceremony.  On account of recent bereavement in the family only the relatives were bidden as guests.

The bride wore a beautiful gown of white marquisette cloth over taffeta with a full wedding veil falling to the hem of her skirt.  She carried in her lovely arms bunch of brides buds and lilies of the valley.

Mr. and Mrs. Franks are at the home of Mrs. Robert Jones on Main street.

“Society.”

Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Baker announce the engagement of their daughter, Bessie to Mr. Arthur Franks, the wedding to occur in April at the home of the bride’s parents.  Miss Baker is one of our sweetest and most accomplished young women whose friends are deeply interested in her approaching marriage.

Mr. Franks is one of Cartersville’s most substantial young business men, very popular among his many friends.  This wedding is to be a very quiet home ceremony with only the relatives present.
